Performance,
browser compatibility, usability, accessibility, intuitive
navigation, quality.
The web is
evolving at a rapid pace.Websites change
constantly. Some industry leaders recommend a major redesign every four to six months. I normally design and develop sites which will be maintained by
my clients using tools such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver. I provide ongoing support when requested and advice where
necessary.

Welcome to our Ecosystem
Saskatchewan Environment and Resource
Management (SERM)
I introduced SERM to the internet by creating this web site. I
divided its massive portfolio into segments the public could understand and presented the
package to senior executive for approval. University
of Regina Co-op students Hayes Chow, Ryan Hutchinson and
Dustin Stickle programmed the interactive tools and input a great deal of
content. It's gone through significant changes over the past year but the framework
remains.

Certified
General Accountants of Saskatchewan
I designed the look and feel
for this site, to complement other communications materials I have
created for CGA Saskatchewan during the past year including a
Catalog of Courses, Annual Report cover and annual convention
materials. The site is maintained and updated by association staff in
Saskatoon.

Enterprise
Commerce Software Inc.
Enterprise Commerce
Software Inc. was invited to Washington DC to present its cutting edge
e-commerce software to a global audience at the 2000 Silverstream Annual
Conference in Washington DC. Just weeks before their departure they realized they had
no promotional or informational materials. Working with ASN Inc. I
developed brochures, signage, handouts and a logo for their software
application, Business Site
Creator. This led to an over the weekend
redesign of their web site while the president prepared his
presentation in his hotel room in Washington. All went well.

Envron
Environmental Inc.
ENVRON Environmental Inc.
specializes in ozone based water purification systems. After a number
of drafts, one of which included a waterlily and a butterfly (my
favorite) we agreed on this design which focused on waterslides and
other public areas while providing a visual link to the more
industrial applications such as hog barns. The webmaster is still
adding content so be patient.

Credit Unions of Saskatchewan
My contribution to the existing SackCU web
site was tying it, along with most other communication vehicles, to the current provincial
image campaign. Graphics were selected to complement it and reinforce the community
oriented profile of credit unions in the province. Peter Gieni at Credit
Union Central designed and manages the site.

CULease Corporation
I
put together and presented a winning proposal to get this project for Credit Union Central
of Saskatchewan. It resulted in what should be a long term partnership with CULease. Peter
Gieni at CUCS did the bulk of the design and maintains the site for CULease.
CULease is preparing for a second generation redesign on the site in 2000.They were
extremely happy with our team's effort and supported us in our winning bid to design the
HTML interface for MemberDirect.

MemberDirect Credit Union Home Banking
Our team's bid defeated some big players, including Grey
Interactive out of Toronto, to design the MemberDirect HTML interface for Saskatchewan
Credit Unions. I presented options to the MemberDirect Pilot group and, with their input,
we created the interface. Peter Gieni did the final design work using
cutting edge drop down menus. Tyler Lecouffe provided excellent technical
and programming skills to make this a success. The pilot is in final testing so it's not
publicly accessible yet. |

Regina Roadrunners
I created the first and second generation of this soccer site
- the first
of its kind in Saskatchewan. Bruce Crouter actually maintains
the site, providing stats, technical support and riveting commentary to
the global soccer community. The site has had visits from over 60 countries around the
planet. And hey, we won a major international award!!!

Then, of course there's my site...I did it
all design, programming, animation! I hope you like it though my focus
group so far gives me thumbs up on everything but the photo. Of course, every web site I
design is based on the unique character and needs of my client.
Wiggling pencils and loud rock'roll music probably won't reflect your company's business
or target audience. Give me a call at 306-789-6787 to discuss building your site or email
me - bruce.weild@cableregina.com |
